Abstract
A novel nanocarbon structure, carbon nanohorns (CNH) particle hybridized with Ni-contained carbon nanocapsule (CNC), was investigated. The submerged arc in liquid nitrogen was applied to synthesize the structure. Ni-contained graphite composite anode was used to produce CNHs-CNC. Results showed that gas bubbles around the arc plasma was quite inert to produce horn structures to aggregate around CNC.
