title = "Chemical and thin-film strategies for new transparent conducting oxides",
abstract = "Northwestern University conducted a study to synthesize and characterize transparent conducting oxides (TCOs). The research team focused on bulk and thin-film phases in the (Zn-Cd-In-Ga-Sn)-O quintinary oxide system. Initial results revealed that additional new, instructive, and useful compounds and solid-solution phases remain to be discovered and characterized for TCO properties.",
