Crystal and molecular structure of a novel coordinatively unsaturated rhodium (II) dimer

Abstract

A novel, coordinatively unsaturated, phosphido-bridged Rh(II) dimer [(PMe1Bu2)ClRh(μ-PMe1Bu)J2 (1) has been characterized. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c, a=11.121(1), b=14.887(1), c=22.865(2) Å, β=94.87(1)°, V=3771.8(5) Å3, Z=4, R(F)=0.039 and Rw(F2) =0.096 for I>20-(I).
