Abstract

This article will attempt to survey,very selectively, the polymer electrolyte field; our emphasis will be on the chemistry, the structural situation, and the conductivity response. This study also deals with solvent-free polymer electrolytes based on polymer-salt complexes. Also presented is a discussion of the conductivity in these polymer electrolytes, concentrating on measurements and on the interpretation of ionic mobility.
