Model simulations of DNA denaturation dynamics

Abstract

Models of DNA were developed that were used to describe the melting behavior DNA-linked gold nanosphere aggregates. Many properties of DNA were described accurately enough for DNA in solution. The model could also be used for DNA melting dynamics in solution that were of interest, including studies of DNA containing mixtures of A-T and C-G pairs and different kinds of mismatches.
