Abstract

Subsolidus compatibilities in the YO//1//. //5-BaO-CuO system involving the superconducting 1:2:3 compound have been determined via optical microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and diamagnetic susceptibility measurements. The susceptibility is particularly sensitive to the presence or absence of the superconducting phase.
