Abstract
we have demonstrated a simple method to synthesize multi-walled 2H-TaS 2 nanotubes in high yield from Ta2O5 nanotube templates with control over the length, diameter, and the number of TaS 2 layers. These nanotubes exhibit superconductivity and CDW behavior different from bulk TaS2.We anticipate that this template-based method can be readily applied to synthesize otherTMDnanotubes from the appropriate precursors, and advance the study of TMD materials in reduced dimensions.
